My name is Ben, I'm the owner of Black Ash Tactical. We recently relocated the business to Louisville, KY from Central Florida after a 2.5 year break. I started building holsters in 2019, in what was essentially a closet in a local gun shop in Mt. Dora, FL.
I rebranded the business in 2021 and sold it in 2022 because I was moving to KY and I didn’t think it would be smart of me to move the business from where it was. It was one of the biggest mistakes, I've ever made. Definitely not the biggest and if you know me you know I'm definitely not kidding. Haha.In January of this year, I decided I wanted to get back into it. I wanted to start a new company and go from there but the opportunity to buy my old company presented itself and I knew it’s what I had to do
At the end of March this year, I drove down to FL, loaded up all the equipment and supplies and drove it back here to Louisville and began to set up shop.With some help from friends and family, a marketing company called Deadeye Ads and last but not least the best and most supportive wife a guy could ask for, we are back in business.
